The chief executive of the Auckland Rugby Union Andy Dalton applauds what he says has been a very tough decision by the New Zealand Rugby Union to introduce a 10-team Premier Championship next year.
Results both on and off the field this year will determine the top ten, and there'll be six teams in division one.
Dalton says financially the game just couldn't sustain a 14-team competition....
