Vettori plays down tension between New Zealand and Australia

The New Zealand cricket captain, Dan Vetttori, is playing down any tension between fast bowler Shane Bond and the touring Australian side, ahead of tomorrow's opening Twenty-20 match in Wellington.

Bond has said the New Zealand side will put Australia under greater pressure, compared to the relatively easy run they'd had at home against Pakistan and the West Indies.

In reply Australian coach Tim Nielsen said New Zealand had hardly had a tough buildup against Banglandesh.

But Vettori says Bond wasn't being critical of Australia as Bond has plenty of respect for the Australians and its the side he looks forward to playing against the most.
