The arrival of the New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond couldn't help the Kolkata Knight Riders keep their perfect record in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament.
Bond, who played the 5th ODI against Australia in Wellington on Saturday night, bowled 4 overs taking none for 33 and scored 1 run as Kolkata were beaten by 55 runs by the Chennai Super Kings.
Kolkata now have a 2 win and 1 loss record, while Chennai are 1 and 1.
Bond is the first of a half a dozen New Zealanders who can play in this season's IPL.
