Fernando Alonso has starred in early practice for the Monaco Grand Prix, posting the fastest times for Ferrari in both the morning and afternoon practice sessions.
After clocking the fastest time in a closely-contested morning session, Alonso cut a second off his best lap time in the afternoon when the sun appeared briefly, and he believes he can make it three Monaco titles this weekend.
The next three fastest times were posted by Nico Rosberg, in the leading Mercedes, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari.
Friday is a rest day in Monaco, and final practice is on Saturday for the race on Sunday.
