The current holders Olympic were the big casualties in the second round of the Chatham Cup losing 2-1 to Wellington United in the capital.
There were some big wins in the Northern Region with Auckland's Eastern Suburbs beatimng Whakatane Town 8-0, Glenfield Rovers defeating Mangere United 7-0 and Three Kings United beating Hamilton's Claudeland Rovers 8-1.
