The Celtics' were lead by shooting guard Paul Pierce, who had his best game of the series and scored 27 points.
The Lakers' guard Kobe Bryant top-scored with 38 points, including 19 in the third quarter, but it wasn't enough for the visitors who suffered from a lack of balanced scoring.
The Celtics lead the Lakers three games to two in the best-of-seven finals series, with the last two games to be played in Los Angeles.
