The Greek sprinter Katerina Thanou, who was at the heart of a doping scandal at the Athens Olympics four years ago, says she intends competing at next month's Beijing Games.
Thanou and fellow sprinter Costas Kenteris were banned for two years after missing drug tests on the eve of the Athens Games, but the Sydney Olympic silver medalist has qualified for Beijing, and she's keen to compete.
The International Olympic Committee has said if Thanou travels to China her eligibility for the Games will be examined.
