The New Zealand single scullers Mahe Drysdale and Emma Twigg are safely through to the semi-finals at the Olympic rowing regatta in Beijing.
Three-time world champion Drysdale won his quarter-final, while Twigg finished third in hers.
The semi-finals are on Wedensday.
The next New Zealand crew in action is the pair of Juliette Haig and Nicola Coles who row their repechage on Tuesday afternoon.
