Fleming's franchise paid $380,000 for pace bowler Adam Milne and all-rounder Mitchell Santner, while batsman Devon Conway went for $200,000.

Lockie Ferguson went for $2 million yesterday and in total ten New Zealand players have earnt contracts, while Kane Williamson was retained from last season by Sunrsiers Hyderabad.

Also picked up are Finn Allen $160,000 (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Trent Boult $1.6 million, James Neesham $300,000 and Daryl Mitchell $150,000 (Rajasthan Royals), Tim Southee $300,000 (Kolkata Knight Riders), Tim Seifert $100,000 (Delhi Capitals), Glen Phillips $300,000 (Sunrisers Hyderabad).

Former Australian captain Steve Smith wasn't picked up.

There was a healthy appetite for quick bowlers in the two-day auction but South African Lungi Ngidi and England's Chris Jordan found teams after going unsold in the early rounds.

The league's 10 franchises spent a combined $110 million to buy 204 players from among the 600 who had registered.

Local batsman Ishan Kishan was the most expensive player bought in the two-day action after Mumbai forked out $3 million to keep him.

The 15th edition of the world's richest cricket league will begin in the last week of March with two new franchises -- Lucknow and Ahmedabad -- taking part.

South Africa's Chris Morris is the most expensive IPL player of all time, a $3.3m signing by Rajasthan last year.

Each of the 10 teams have a budget of $18 million, and can pick squads of up to 25 with a maximum of eight overseas players.
