Newcastle United have finally given their fans a boost playing with 10 men for much of the match, they came from 1-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at St James' Park.
Without a win for two months, under a caretaker manager and with their owner trying to sell the club, Newcastle have been in disarray and remain second to last in the Premier League standings four points ahead of Tottenham the only side not to have recorded a win so far this season.
