Cousins might abandon high profile comeback

Ben Cousins might abandon his planned Australian Rules comeback because the AFL's drug-testing regime he'll have to abide by is too tough.

Cousins manager Ricky Nixon is expected to tell the AFL Players' Association the rules make it almost impossible for Cousins to resume his career.

The former West Coast captain, a self-confessed drug addict, was sacked late last year after being arrested on drug charges.
