Rain prevented Central Districts from extending their lead in the State Championship cricket competition.
After posting 523 in their first innings, Central could only watch from the stands as rain at the Basin Reserve saw Wellington finish on 376 for 7 and no first innings points were handed out.
The rain-affected match between Northern Districts and Canterbury in Hamilton also ended in a draw.
Meanwhile Auckland have taken first innings points against Otago at Eden Park.... heading into the last day, Otago are 132 for 4 , an overall lead of 120.
