Not all Provincial Unions have to cut jobs

Amid the economic crisis that's forcing many provincial rugby unions to shed staff, Hawkes Bay and Auckland remain optimistic they won't have to take such drastic action.

Counties Manukau, Canterbury and Wellington have all confirmed they will be making job cuts and many other unions are predicted to follow .

However, Hawkes Bay's chief executive Mike Bishop says whiile everyone is struggling in uncertain economic times Hawkes Bay won't be cutting jobs and will be fully staffed in the new year.

Auckland's chief executive Andy Dalton says while they're finding it very tough there'll be no job cuts in the immediate future.
