The future of New Zealand swimming seems bright with 28 records set in the five-day New Zealand Age Group short course championships in Wellington.
Six records were broken on the final night with 15 year old Christchurch swimmer Sophia Batchelor establishing two further new national age group records to take her tally to 12 for the meet.
She broke the 50 metre freestyle record and then took more than a second off the record for the 200 metre individual medley.
