The Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has heaped praise on the European Champions League, saying it's the best football competition in the world, even better than the World Cup.
Speaking before United beat winless Bursaspor in Turkey to all but guarantee them progress into the knockout stages, Sir Alex says the Champions League's better than the World Cup because you get some unbelievable games.
Ferguson admits sometimes the group games aren't that great when there's a mismatch but queries whether the quality's any better at the FIFA showpiece.
He says the last six World Cups were like going to the dentist.
