The Belarussian Victoria Azarenka produced some sparkling tennis to defeat the world number two Kim Clijsters to reach the semi-finals in Miami.
Azarenka beat Clijsters 6-3 6-3 with the 2010 champion making 44 unforced errors.
She'll play the Russian world number three Vera Zvonareva, who beat Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets.
The Russian Maria Sharapova will face Germany's Andrea Petkovic in the other semi-final.
