Australia wins last Rose Bowl ODI

Australia's beaten the New Zealand women cricketers by 19 runs in the final Rose Bowl One Day International in Brisbane.

The home side had at three-two lead going into the final match after the Twenty20 component was shared two-all and they won the first one day match two days ago.

The White Ferns were set 22 to win and Lucy Doolan and Frances McKay put on 45 for the first wicket.

However, they slumped to 97 for six before captain Aimee Watkins and Nicola Browne put on 41 for the seventh wicket.

Watkins made 49 off 45 balls in her 100th ODI, but Browne ran out of partners and was left stranded on 54 not out - the White Ferns all out for 203 in the 47th over.
