Israel Dagg says he has to get past doubts ahead of All Blacks test

The All Blacks utility back Israel Dagg has only Sunday morning's Tri Nations rugby test in South Africa to show he's fully recovered from a serious leg injury and is ready for the World Cup.

Dagg, who's likely to start at fullback in Port Elizabeth, ruptured a tendon in his right thigh in May while playing for the Crusaders and had to undergo surgery.

The 22-year-old's had just two matches since, one for his club and the other for Hawke's Bay before heading for Port Elizabeth last weekend and says while the leg feels fine, the unusual nature of the injury remains in the back of his mind.
