Man City go top of EPL

8:40 am on 22 August 2011

After coming off the bench to score two goals in his debut for Manchester City, striker Sergio Arguero made his first start for the football club as he helped Roberto Mancini's men to a 3-2 Premier League defeat of Bolton.

The win lifts City to the top of the table after crushing Swansea 4-nil in their season opener.

Arguero will be disappointed after missing two golden opportunities to get his name on the score sheet this morning, but team-mate Edin Dzeko, who struck the match winning goal, says it's a joy to play alongside the Argentine international.

Meanwhile City manager Roberto Mancini says midfielder Samir Nasri's move to Manchester from Arsenal is just days away from being confirmed, despite Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's claims that the deal is far from being done.
