The Ireland rugby captain is staying grounded despite a first win against Australia after five attempts at a world cup.

Ireland stunned the Wallabies 15-6 in last night's Pool C encounter at Eden Park.

Brian O' Discroll says the victory has set a standard for his team.

The defeat means Australia are almost certain to be in the same half of the draw as defending champions South Africa and hosts New Zealand in the knockout stages.

Elsewhere South Africa shook off its shaky first up win and dismantled Fiji 49-3 in their second Pool D match in Wellington earlier in the evening
