Former world golf number two Spainard Sergio Garcia ended a near three-year wait for a ninth European Tour success by romping to an 11-shot triumph at the Castello Masters in Spain, while the New Zealander Mark Brown finished 31 shots off the pace in Valencia.
Fellow Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano carded a final round 64 to finish a distant second behind Garcia who compiled an eight-under 63 for to close at 27 under.
Garcia's winning aggregate would have been a tour record but for the fact preferred-lies were used.
Brown tied for 63rd place.
