Cyclist Mark Cavendish has been named the BBC's sports personality of the year.
Cavendish won five stages on this year's Tour de France and claimed the sprinters jersey.
The England cricket team won team of the year and their coach Andy Flower won coach of the year.
Tennis player Novak Djokovic was named overseas personality of the year.
