The Auckland cricketers have qualified for the final of the domestic one day competition after beating Otago by 73 runs in Auckland.
The homeside scored 337 for 3 in their 50 overs with Neal Parlane making 117 and Anaru Kitchen 110 as they put on 222 for the third wicket.
Otago were dismissed for 264 in the 46th over.
Auckland will play Central Districts in Sunday's final in New Plymouth.
