NZ cricketers beat West Indies

The New Zealand cricketers beat the West Indies by 36 runs in the second and final Twenty20 match at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday.

New Zealand scored 191 for 9 from their 20 overs with Jessie Ryder making 62 and Brendan McCullum 59.

The Windies lost captain Chris Gayle in the second over and from then failed to keep up with the required run rate finishing on 155 for 7.

Dan Vettori and Jeetan Patel took 2 wickets each.

The West Indies won the opening match.

The two sides now play a five match one-day series with the first match in

Queenstown on Wednesday.
