Police have located a Gisborne woman and baby who had been reported missing.
Marana Tui Takiwana and her 18-month-old child left Gisborne by car on 9 January, and were due to arrive at Waitangi in Northland on the same day.
The alarm was raised when the pair did not arrive as planned, and family had not heard from Ms Takiwana.
However police confirmed on Monday night that both had been found, and are on a marae at Waitangi.
