An American court has indicted the last terrorism suspect who had been held without charge at a military prison in the United States.

The man, Ali Saleh Kahlah al-Marri, who has duel Saudi Arabian and Qatari nationality, is accused of providing material support to al-Qaeda.

He was arrested in the United States in 2001.

Two years later he was designated as an enemy combatant by the Bush administration, which argued he could be held indefinitely without charges.

President Obama ordered a review of Mr al-Marri's detention.
