A school principal in Fiji has been sacked after calling for a speedy return to democracy.
Tevita Koroi, who is also the President of the Fijian Teachers Association, says he was told of the decision through a letter delivered to him on Monday night.
Mr Koroi, who has been a teacher for the last 29 years, made the comments in December last year.
He was suspended at the time for breaking the Public Service Commission's code of conduct.
