The first memorial service for former MPs was held at Parliament on Friday.
The service was organised by the Association of former Members of Parliament and held in the debating chamber.
It remembered 13 former MPs who have died since the beginning of the 48th Parliament in November 2005.
It included the Green Party co-leader Ron Donald, Labour MP Helen Duncan and New Zealand First MP and former High Commissioner to the Cook Islands Brian Donnelly.
