Up to 50 people have been killed in two missile strikes in north-west Pakistan. American drones are suspected.
Officials say the first attack took place on Wednesday in South Waziristan near the Afghan border. At least 10 suspected fighters were killed there.
Another 40 were killed when five missiles hit a vehicle convoy in the same region some hours later.
Local officials say all the vehicles were destroyed. Their occupants were mostly Taliban fighters.
The drone campaign began last August.
