Pakistani security officials say five Taliban fighters have been killed and four wounded by a missile strike in a border region of Pakistan.
It was the fourth strike by a US drone in nine days. It took place in Bahadur Kaley village, between the tribal regions of South and North Waziristan, on Friday.
Taliban warlord Baitullah Mehsud is the subject of a $US5 million reward offered by the United States, and a bounty of $US615,000 ($A764,000) in Pakistan.
