Police in Hamilton say they are talking to three people after two girls were threatened by armed men in a house.
Police say an air rifle was used to smash a ranch slider door to break into the house in the suburb of Rototuna, threatening the two teenage girls shortly before 2am on Saturday.
They say neither girl was injured and the offenders fled in a red car.
The Armed Offenders Squad cordoned off an address in Rototuna a short time later.
