A fuel leak has forced a Qantas plane on its way from Singapore to Sydney to land at Perth airport.
Qantas is describing the diversion on Wednesday as a precautionary measure and not an emergency, according to the ABC website.
The plane was carrying 290 passengers. During the flight one of the aircraft's four engines had to be switched off for safety reasons.
Qantas says the plane is being assessed by engineers and if it cannot go on to Sydney the passengers will be put on other flights or given overnight accommodation in Perth.
