Singer-songwriter Lawrence Arabia has won the APRA Silver Scroll award with his song "Apple Pie Bed".
Lawrence Arabia is a psuedonym for James Milne, who says he wrote the song when he was feeling depressed and did not want to get out of bed.
Midnight Youth won the award for Most Performed Work in New Zealand with their song "The Letter".
