The police are seeking witnesses to a deliberately lit fire in an apartment building in Hastings on Sunday morning.
The fire started at about 4am in the foyer area of the building in Karamu Rd South. A resident was confronted by thick smoke and flames after getting up to investigate noise.
The police say three males were seen leaving the building shortly before the fire was discovered.
