The Serious Fraud office is to investigate the affairs of the failed clothing firm Lane Walker Rudkin.
The receivers, BDO have complained that the group misrepresented its financial strength to Westpac in order to borrow money.
The Lane Walker Rudkin group of companies collapsed in April owing Westpac about $120 million.
