The number of international passengers passing through Auckland international airport rose 1.2% to 584,000 in September compared with the same month last year.
The airport company says a rise in travellers from Australia and the United States offset a decline in visitors from Britain, Japan and Korea.
Domestic passenger volumes rose 1.8% to 496,000.
