Flood warning in NSW

9:11 am on 26 December 2009

People in parts of New South Wales are being warned to expect flooding on Boxing Day.

Up to 70mm of rain fell across the west, central west and northwest of the state on Christmas Day.

The rainfall was not enough to cause flooding, but the outlook is grim.

The Bureau of Meteorology says there is a 50:50 chance of flooding later in the day.
