Mass burial 'horror' for many Haitians

Religious leaders in Haiti are uneasy that victims of the earthquake are being buried in mass graves.

The Haitian government says that at least 75,000 unidentified bodies have so far been buried that way.

More than half of Haiti's nine million people are believed to practise some form of voodoo, and for them the idea of mass burials is anathema.

The head of Haiti's main voodoo priests' organisation, Max Beauvoir, says there are no religious services being held for victims - a situation he describes as a horror as bad as the earthquake itself.
