Power has been restored to a large part of the North Shore of Auckland, after a bird strike cut supplies to about 3000 customers on Thursday morning.
Vector says Birkenhead, Birkdale, Beach Haven and Chatswood were affected.
It says the cut was caused by birds affecting power lines.
