An aid agency has suspended operations in Pakistan after an attack on its office left six staff dead.
Militants attacked the office of World Vision in North West Frontier province this week, killing six Pakistani nationals working for the organisation.
World Vision says it was targetted becuse it was running programmes to help women.
It has suspended its operations in Pakistan and it's likely other groups will follow suit.
Attacks on aid workers and other non-governmental organisations are not uncommon in Pakistan, the BBC reports
In February 2008, British aid agency Plan International suspended its operations there after three of its workers were killed in an attack on its office in Mansehra.
