Progressive Enterprises supermarkets are recalling 1kg packs of Home Brand jasmine rice because they may be contaminated with metal shavings.
The company says customers with packets of the rice should return them to their nearest Countdown, Woolworths, Foodtown, SuperValue or Fresh Choice for a full refund.
Three contaminated packs have been discovered in Australia but none in New Zealand.
Only the 1kg pack is affected.
