TV bias reports denied

Fiji Television is denying reports it removed two senior journalists from its newsroom because they were biased against the interim government and had close links with an opposition political party.

A former manager for news, current affairs and sport is now a training manager, and a former desk editor and team leader news has been moved to the production department.

Fiji TV's lawyer, Tanya Waqanika, says the two journalists were needed elsewhere and that other people have also been moved as the company streamlines its operation.
