Police on the Kapiti Coast have begun a search for a Paekakariki man, who went missing 10 days ago.
Raymond Piper, 23, was last seen at a Paraparaum house, where his former partner resides.
The area is being canvassed. So is Paekakariki near his parent's home.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam, says police are becoming more and more concerned because Mr Piper's disappearance is out of character.
