Police no longer regard a fatal fire in the Auckland suburb of Glenfield at the weekend as suspicious.
The Fire Service was called to the fire at 1.30am on Saturday after neighbours reported a vehicle on fire in a garage.
When they arrived, the garage was fully alight and the fire had spread to the house. A body was found in a burnt-out car in the garage.
Police say there is no indication that foul play was involved.
