Tenders for the Crafar family farms closed on Wednesday afternoon, but it's not known how many bids were received.
The receivers say they've had a strong response from potential buyers for the 16 mainly dairy farms in central and southern North Island.
They say it will take some time to assess the offers and they will not say anything more until they've made a decision.
Apart the Hong Kong-based Natural Dairy Holdings and Landcorp jointly with Wairakei Pastoral - no other bidders have publicly declared their interest.
The Crafar farms were placed in receivership in October last year.
