The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has made a return of more than 15% in the year ending June, with the fund now worth more than $15.6 billion.
The lift was largely due to the recovery of financial markets following the global financial crisis, which resulted in the fund making a loss of $776 million the previous year.
On a monthly basis, the fund made a negative return for the second month in a row in June, down 1.5%.
