Islamic police in Nigeria have smashed 80,000 bottles of beer in the northern city of Kano, enforcing a sharia law ban on the consumption of alcohol there.
The bottles, which filled 13 trucks, were seized as they were being delivered to the city from breweries in the south of the country.
