Hapu boss joins council property arm

The former chief executive Ngati Whatua o Orakei Maori Trust Board has joined the board of Auckland Council Property Ltd.
Tiwana Tibble spent 14 years as the business leader of the hapu, overseeing a 10-fold increase in the value of the sub-tribe's investments.
The council says Mr Tibble brings specialised knowledge in commercial property development and finance, particularly with joint ventures and extensive expertise in Maori development.
