The body behind the world's biggest Maori performing arts competition has temporarily banned TV3 from broadcasting the event.
Te Matatini Incorporated Society has told the channel it is not allowed to show any pictures from the National Kapa Haka Festival in Rotorua until Saturday morning.
The society says TV3 showed images of the performance on Thursday night in breach of an agreement between Te Matatini and host broadcaster Maori Television.
TV3 could not be reached for comment on Friday.
