A Taranaki exhibition will bring 25 Taranaki artists from throughout the country together for the first time.
The Call of Taranaki exhibition features sculpture, photography, clay, painting and weaving from 25 leading contemporary Maori artists, who are all connected to Taranaki, curator Darcy Nicholas says .
For many of the artists it is a chance to return home to Taranaki after many years away from the region.
The exhibition opens on 16 August and runs until 17 November.
